It's pretty basic stuff, everyone starts out doing art with charcoal. So why does DeviantArt make it so difficult to find proper categories for charcoal pieces?

Starting a new drawing today that was inspired by a bit of my hair that had been washed onto the wall of my shower. Weird, I know. Almost as weird is the art piece that I will eventually do that was inspired by a daikon. I get inspired by the weirdest things ... the ceiling, bark, rocks, clouds, vegetables (not really fruits), kabaabs ... it's like that line in A Modest Destiny - "I can read wallpaper" ([link]).
